Call for Volunteers: 2012 Junior Age Managers


Are you passionate about Soccer?  


Are you keen to assist with the development of junior players.


Positions Title: Age Manager

Position Status: Unpaid Volunteer

In 2012, Berowra Soccer Club will be introducing Age Managers for the Junior teams.

An Age Manager is a volunteer position on our committee that plays a fundamental role within the club's program and is responsible for the care, safety, well being and development of all junior players.

What does an Age Manager do?

Under 6-9 years

Requirements:


  • You will be the contact person for all teams in your age group.

  • You will receive and be responsible for sending any correspondence from the JVP or the Club committee throughout the season to all team contacts within your age group.

  • At the Start of the year you will be involved in the team allocation processes.

  • Attend Junior Committee Meetings once a month with an undertaking to work as part of a team.

  • Complete a valid Working with Children form.

  • Be of 18 years or older.


Under 10-18 years

Requirements:


  • You will be the contact person for all teams in your age group.

  • You must be of 18 years or older.

  • Complete a valid Working with Children form.

  • Have a good understanding of the game of soccer, knowledge of the rules and the players in that age group.

  • You will be involved at the start of the year with team grading for that age group.

  • You will receive and be responsible for sending any correspondence from the JVP or the Club committee throughout the season to all team contacts within your age group.

  • You must attend 2 games in each season/year for each team in your age group and report on/scout players in those teams. (This will be done in correspondence with the Coach & Managers of those teams, and will be a necessity for grading the following season).

  • Attend Junior Committee Meetings once a month with an undertaking to work as part of a team.
